【Summary】 

Residues of Leuco-Crystal violet (LCV), a veterinary drug illegally used for the treatment of aqua-cultured fish. The detection of illegal additive residues such as Leuco-Crystal violet in seafood and water is of great concern for the aquaculture because of the potential interfering and adverse effects of illegal additive residues frequently found in seafood and water.

【Use Principles】 

Leuco-Crystal violet ELISA Test Kit is an indirect competitive enzyme-labeled immunoassay. The Leuco-Crystal violet antigen is precoated on the wells. The precoated antigen compete the Leuco-Crystal violet antibody (antibody solution) with Leuco-Crystal violet in the sample, anti-Leuco-Crystal violet antibody binds to the malachite green-HRP enzyme conjugate. Then pipette the substrate solutions to the wells to convert the color.

The color of unknown samples is compared to the color of the standards and the Leuco-Crystal violet concentration of the samples is derived.
