m-CP LAB-AGAR™ Base
Clostridium Perfringens – Medium for the determination of the number of Clostridium perfringens in water samples. It is used to determine both the number of vegetative cells and spores of the sulphite-reducing anaerobe Clostridium perfringens. Tryptose is a source of nitrogen, vitamins and amino acids. Yeast extract provides B vitamins. Sucrose is a source of energy. L-cysteine hydrochloride is a red-ox potential reducer. bromocresol purple is a pH indicator. Media selective agents are polymyxin sulphate and D-cycloserine. Media according to European Directive 12767/97. additive: m-CP Selective Supplement (SL0026).
