Product Description of Potter-Elvehjem Tissue Homogenizers are designed for manual homogenization of soft tissues such as brain and liver by mechanical shear. The Potter-Elvehjem pestle is stainless steel with a PTFE tip that is used in conjunction with a borosilicate glass mortar.
All Potter-Elvehjem pestles are compatible with the Omni Overhead Stirrer for powered applications.
