Description of VRBG LAB-AGAR™
Selective Medium for the determination of Enterobacteriales in food, pharmaceutical and other samples. The growth of Gram-positive bacteria, especially Staphylococcus spp. is inhibited by the crystal violet present in the medium. Glucose is a differentiating factor that is fermented by all types of Enterobacteriales.
