Description of CM-Curdlan
High purity CM-Curdlan for use in research, biochemical enzyme assays and in vitro diagnostic analysis.
Curdlan (a 1,3-β-D-glucan) carboxymethylated to an extent of DS ~ 0.3 with chloroacetic acid. The polymer is completely soluble to give an excellent substrate for the assay of endo-1,3-β-D-glucanase by reducing-sugar or viscometric procedures.
