Description of DOSEman mining edition
The DOSEman has been developed within a project of the German Fedral Office of Radiation Protection. The small size, the light weight and its rugged design allow the usage in underground mines and permanent wearing. Miners and mining companies around the world trust the DOSEman – since more than 15 years!
The unit works 12 days by battery and can be operated by a single push button.
Real alpha spectroscopy ensures a minimum response time. Measured radon concentrations as well as the alpha spectrum are stored for preservation of evidence and may be read through infra-red interface.
