Description
MULTI-CHANNEL DIGITAL INSTRUMENT – MC14 EVO
The MC14 EVO control unit allows a rational and precise management of the analysis and adjustments of the water fundamental parameters, in industrial and swimming pool applications.
It can measure up to 5 parameters simultaneously, depending on the application needs; designed for wall installation.
It can be supplied in ready-to-use multiparametric stations, wired and assemble on a panel, complete with measurement sensors, dosing pumps and data recording systems.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
- Inputs for up to 5 simultaneous measurements; analysis of pH, ORP, temperature (always provided), free chlorine, total chlorine, conductivity, turbidity (even with self-cleaning option), bromine, chlorine dioxide, hydrogen peroxide, ozone, peracetic acid, etc.
- Available double inputs for membrane amperometric cell (CAC series)
- Two-level configuration menu, password protected
- Adjustment and alarm relays
- Two analogic outputs, fully configurable and galvanically isolated
- Input for sample water flow sensor
- Two level inputs for monitoring the products to be dosed
- Data log downloadable via serial line
- Serial port, with galvanic insulation, for communication with PC, data recorder, RW14
- Optional RS485 serial port with Modbus RTU communication protocol
- Multi-language menu (Italian, English, French, Spanish)
- Power supply 230 V~, 50/60 Hz (115 V~ upon request)
- IP65 housing, designed for wall installation
TECHNICAL DATA
Standard Configuration: In1 (mea1) = pH
In2 (mea2) = ORP
In3 (mea3) = chlorine with cell CLE12 (5 ppm FS)
In4 (mea4) = chlorine with CAC cell (5 ppm FS)
In5 (mea5) = temperature
Measurement Inputs
pH: 0.00 … 14.00 pH; input impedance > 10^12 Ohm (precision better than ±0.02 pH, repeatability better than ± 0.01 pH)
ORP: –1000 … +1000 mV; input impedance > 10^12 Ohm (precision better than ± 0.02 mV, repeatability better than ± 0.01 mV)
CLE12 Cell: 0 … 1.00 ; 0 … 5.00 ppm – to be specified upon order (precision better than ±0.02 ppm, repeatability better than ±0.01 ppm)
CAC Cell: 0 … 1.00 ; 0 … 2.00 ; 0 … 5.00 ; 0…10.00 ppm – to be specified upon order; other ranges upon request (precision better than ±0.02 ppm, repeatability better than ±0.01 ppm)
Conductivity: range and cell constant to be specified upon order; measure displayed on 2000 points (precision better than ±4 points, repeatability better than ±2 points)
Standardized Input: range to be specified upon order – e.g. turbidity 0 … 100 NTU
(precision better than ±0.2% FS, repeatability better than ± 0.1% FS)
Temperature: 0.0 … +100.0 °C; directly from Pt100 (Pt1000 upon request) (precision better than ±0.3°C, repeatability better than ±0.2°C)
Note: Precision and repeatability refer to the electronics only.
– Display: 2-row (x 16 characters) alphanumeric LCD, with backlight
– Power Supply: 230 V~ ±10%, 50-60 Hz, 45 VA (110 or 24 V~, 50-60 Hz upon request)
– Relay Outputs: available on removable terminal blocks.
4 adjustment relays (K1, K2, K4, K5), that can be driven by any of the five measurements.
1 alarm relay (K3); normally energized, it deactivates upon failures; can be also configured as NO; K1, K2 and K3 have a max load of 250V~, 3A resistive, while K4 and K5 have a max load of 24 V (V~ or V-), 3A
Factory standard configuration (unless otherwise specified by customer):
• K1 and K2 = output at 230 V~
• K3, K4, K5 = voltage-free contact output
Alternative configurations (to be requested upon order):
• K1, K2, K3 = contact or 230 V~ output
• K4 e K5 = contact or voltage (24 V~, max 20 VA) output for directly driving solenoid valves (e.g. tablet feeders)
Standard Configuration: In1 (mea1) = pH
In2 (mea2) = ORP
In3 (mea3) = chlorine with cell CLE12 (5 ppm FS)
In4 (mea4) = chlorine with CAC cell (5 ppm FS)
In5 (mea5) = temperature
