DESCRIPTION OF TURBIDITY CELLS – ATS96
Cells for turbidity measurement, compliant with the international ISO7027 standards and to the European directives about the electromagnetic compatibility.
The light source generates a constant beam, which passes through the sample and the light intensity outcoming from the liquid is detected by a photodiode. The signal is amplified and then transmitted to the measurement instrument.
The complete system includes cell, preamplifier and (optional) auto-cleaning system, and is supplied assembled on a panel.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
- “Side Scattering” model with detector placed at 90° with respect to the light source; measurement range up to 100.0 FTU (NTU)
- “Forward Scattering” model with detector placed in line (180°) with the light source; measurement range up to 500.0 FTU
- High efficiency, red LED light source
- Signal output 4-20 mA
- Auto-cleaning gropu available on request, assembled on the cell
